JLove has reportedly postponed her wedding to fiancé Ross McCall, as the two have supposedly had a rocky patch in their relationship because they have been spending so much time apart.
The Ghost Whisperer star and McCall, who were spotted out enjoying a walk side-by-side over the weekend, announced their engagement last November.
A friend of Hewitt’s told E! News: “Things aren’t great between them. It’s hard because he’s filming in New Mexico and she’s in Los Angeles. The relationship is strained and their wedding won’t happen anytime soon. She ruled out a summer wedding saying didn’t want to be “a sweaty bride, and revealed she was looking forward to a “small, private, romantic and wonderful” ceremony.”
Hewitt has hinted that the couple was considering having a surprise wedding, as she told press: “If we kind of wake up and say, ‘Let’s go do it,’ that’s how we will do it.”

August 16th, 2008 • Jennifer Love Hewitt Reveals New Thinner Body
In November, Jennifer Love Hewitt was criticized for weight gain after photos surfaced of her looking fuller-figured in a bikini in Hawaii.
“We know what you ate this summer, Love – everything!” TMZ.com notoriously wrote.
Now, the Ghost Whisperer star has the last laugh.
In the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, the 29-year-old shows off the new body she got after just 10 weeks and her trainer reveals to Us exclusively how she lost 18 pounds.
“I am in a pretty good workout regimen that I like, so it inspired me to keep it up,” Hewitt tells Us. “The energy level and the way I feel now is great.”
“With her, it’s not, ‘I want to look good in that dress,’” trainer Stevie Sant’Angelo tells Us. “She wanted to start moving around because she thought it would make her feel better.
“She told me, ‘They said some rude, mean things, but that’s not why I wanted to change,’” Sant’Angelo says.

Jennifer Love Hewitt turned heads wearing a short black lacy frock dress at CBS Television’s 2008 summer TCA Party at Blvd 3 in Hollywood on July 18, 2008.
The ever so stylish Hewitt looked alluring wearing a flattering off-the-shoulder neckline dress with the ballerina style skirt filled out with Tulle lining. She matched the dress with grey and black snakeskin pattern peep toe heels. Her hair was styled in a high ponytail with an elegantly puffed top.
In June she won the Saturn Award (2008) for Best Actress on Television for her role in Ghost Whisperer for the second year in row. She portrays the role as Melinda Gordon who has the ability to see and communicate with the dead. The show begins its fourth season consisting of 24 series on October 3, 2008.
Hewitt, 29, got engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall, 32, in November 2007 while vacationing in Hawaii. The couple met in January 2006 after Ross made appeared in an episode of Ghost Whisperer.
The Texas born star has featured each year on FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World since 1997. She was ranked #20 in Maxim’s Hot 100 list (2008).

Student anti-sweatshop activists are ratcheting up their pressure on actor Jennifer Love Hewitt for her celebrity endorsement arrangement with underwear maker Hanesbrands, which stands accused of exploitative labor practices.
Since last year, groups including United Students Against Sweatshops and the Worker Rights Consortium have pushed for Hewitt to take a stand against the alleged unfair and abusive labor practices by Hanesbrands managers at its factory in the Dominican Republic. In response, they contacted Hanesbrands, and “were advised. . . that the claims of the student unions were unwarranted, without merit and were being resolved” by talking with the Dominican workers, according to Hewitt’s lawyer, Robert Wallerstein.
Now USAS, whose members are college and university students, has posted a website attacking the star of CBS’ “Ghost Whisperer,” www.JenniferLovesSweatshops.com. WRC, which has also pushed for Hewitt to take action, denies any involvement in the site.

June 18th, 2008 • Jamie Kennedy joins ‘Whisperer’ cast
Hollywood actor and comedian Jamie Kennedy is joining the cast of the supernatural television drama “Ghost Whisperer,” CBS has announced.Kennedy will play Eli, a graduate student in psychology, who forms a bond with the show’s main character Melinda, a woman who acts as an intermediary between the living and the dead. Melinda is played by Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Kennedy’s television credits include “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment” and “Criminal Minds.” He has also starred in the “Scream” films, “Son of the Mask” and “Malibu’s Most Wanted.”
